Allen Bradley 1756-TBCH ControlLogix Module Wiring Arm

The 1756-TBCH is a removable terminal block for the 1756 I/O modules and it is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The terminal block is a 36-pin cage with standard housing. The power dissipation of the module is 6.19 watts and the operating temperature for the device is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The 1756-TBCH has a weight of 1 kilogram. The device draws a current of 1.2 Amps at 5 Volts DC and 2.5 mA at 24 Volts DC. The module connects with the I/O module and users should connect no more than 2 wires on a single terminal of the device. Users can connect the 1756-TBCH in any of the ControlLogix chassis and the removable terminal block is required for field-side wiring.

Removable terminal blocks (RTBs) provide a flexible interconnection between your plant wiring and 1756 I/O modules. The RTB plugs into the front of the I/O module. The type of module determines the RTB you need. You can choose screw-clamp or spring-clamp RTBs. RTBs are not shipped with I/O modules. You must order them separately. The standard housing on the front of the wiring arm is not necessarily deep enough for 2.5 mm2 (14 AWG) wiring. If you plan to use 2.5 mm2 (14 AWG) wiring, also order the extended housing. The ControlLogix architecture provides a wide range of input and output modules to span many applications, from high-speed digital to process control. The ControlLogix architecture uses a Producer-Consumer model so that input information and output status can be shared among multiple controllers.
