Yes. The 3300/16 specifically supersedes the 3300/15. It fits the same rack slot and accepts the same transducer inputs but provides the added benefit of radial position (gap) alarms, which the 3300/15 lacked.
2. What happens if I connect a 100 mV/mil transducer to this B01 (200 mV/mil) unit?
The monitor will produce incorrect readings. The B01 option expects a 200 mV/mil scale factor (common for 8mm probes). If using 11mm or 14mm probes (100 mV/mil), you must select the B03 or B04 transducer input option to maintain calibration accuracy.
3. Why choose hermetically-sealed relays (C02) over epoxy-sealed (01)?
Hermetically-sealed relays offer superior protection in "Class I, Division 2" environments. They prevent the entry of external air and contaminants, ensuring the relay contacts do not spark or fail due to atmospheric corrosion over long-term deployment.
