Bailey NTDI01 Introduction

The Digital I/O Termination Unit NTDI01 is an interface for INFI 90 Process Management System I/O signals. These signals are used to control and monitor processes. Termination units NTDI01 provide the physical connection points for process field wiring and configure the system I/O signals.

ABB Bailey automatic switch components - relays with isolation function are widely used as one of the industry's important control components. The induction mechanism reflecting certain input variables, such as current, voltage, and power, is set inside the relay, that is, the input port and the output part is also set, which can realize on and off control of the controlled circuit. ABB Berry is located between the input and output ports of the relay and has an intermediate device for coupling isolation and functional processing of the input and can also drive the output part.

The NTDI01 termination unit is a seven-by-seven inch square printed circuit board. The board contains:

•Two fuses.

•16 programmable dipshunts.

•16 user-configurable jumpers.

•Four terminal strips.

•One cable socket.

•Two power source Faston connectors.

•One system common Faston connector.
