The TU865 is an Ethernet-based communication interface module designed for the ABB Ability™ System 800xA automation platform. It connects up to 12 Select I/O MTUs and supports both single and redundant Ethernet adapters (TC810, TC811) along with Ethernet FCI Communication Interface Modules (CI845s) for seamless communication with AC 800M controllers. Additionally, the TU865 supports an optional High Integrity Module (HI880) for SIL 3 safety applications, ensuring reliability and safety in critical systems.
