The Allen-Bradley 2711-K10C10 is a part of the old Allen-Bradley PanelView 1000 Graphics Terminal and it can be replaced with a 2711P-K12C4A8 PanelView Plus 6 Terminal. It is used for various monitoring and machine control applications, but not for critical controls like emergency stops. The 2711-K10C10 offers pixel graphic capabilities and uses common development software for programming simplification.
The 2711-K10C10 terminal has a 10-inch keypad and color display with a navigation button. The terminal supports 32 standard colors and has a 640 x 480 resolution. It has dimensions of 11.11 x 16.64 x 4.40 in. and it weighs 8.2 lbs. It has a 1008 KB nonvolatile memory, a 310 KB RAM, and 85 - 264V AC input voltage. For communication, it has DeviceNet to upload or download applications. The 2711-K10C10 has a NEMA 12/13 or 4X enclosure and is intended for indoor use only. The PanelBuilder32 software is compatible with this terminal for reusing and converting existing applications. The software is 32-bit and runs on the Windows 2000, ME, XP, or Vista operating system.
