Manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation, the IC200MDD843E is a discrete mixed module that combines both input and output points into one product. This discrete mixed module supports a total of 16 inputs and outputs. These input and output points are distributed across two groups. The first group consists of 10 input points, while the second group is composed of six relay output points. All input points for this device are either positive logic or sourcing-type. The output points are capable of handling a maximum of eight amperes.
The IC200MDD843E draws power primarily from the rack-mounted backplane, but any additional load will require a secondary power source. The amount of power that this device draws from the backplane will increase as the number of active input and output points increases, up to a maximum of 190 milliamps.
