GE Fanuc IC698CPE020 CPU Processor Module

Manufactured by GE Automation, the IC698CPE020 is a CPU from the PACSystems RX7i series. It is capable of real-time machine control and communicates with other rack modules via a standard VME backplane.

The IC698CPE020 has three serial ports and two Ethernet ports. For Ethernet connections, a category 5 shielded or unshielded RJ-45 twisted pair cable is needed, as well as TCP/IP configuration. Supported serial ports include RS-232 and RS-485. The third serial port is a station manager port.

Select features of this device include support for 512 program blocks, ladder diagram and C programming, symbolic variable support, modification testing modes, and the ability to monitor system data over a network. Note: Up to 16 web and FTP server connections are possible when using web monitoring.

11. Test Edit mode allows you to easily test modifications to a running program.
