The IS200EPCTG1A is a Mark VI component manufactured by GE. The Mark VI is part of the successful Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management series from General Electric that began with the commercial release of the Mark I in 1969. Each subsequent system in the Speedtronic line since that first system’s release has improved upon the technology and design of the previous system. The Mark VI includes a Windows-based PC operator interface that includes proprietary software like CIMPLICITY graphics that is specifically designed for use with the Mark VI hardware.

The IS200EPCTG1A functions as an Exciter PT/CT board. The board includes two generator CT current inputs and two three-phase generator PT voltage inputs, as well as one analog input. The PT and CT input burdens are less than 1 VA.

The IS200EPCTG1A has three terminal blocks (strips) placed on its front edge. Two of the strips are 4-position strips, while the last is a 24-position strip. The back edge of the board is populated with three vertical pin connectors that are labeled as J305, J308, and J315. The board is also populated with two toroidal transformers and four transformers mounted into frames. The IS200EPCTG1A has twelve TP test points, one jumper switch, and resistors and capacitors of varying materials. The board is built with either one or two metal oxide varistors placed next to each of the transformers in frames. There is a total of six MOVs on the board.
