IC693MDL340 is a 90-30 series 120V, 0.5A AC output module produced by GE Fanuc. It provides 16 output points in two isolated groups, eight in each group. Each group has a 3 amp fuse for protection and an RC buffer for each output to prevent transient electrical noise from the power line. The module also has an output voltage range of 85 to 132 volts AC, 50/60 Hz, and a maximum output current of 0.5 amperes per point. The maximum of each group is 3 amps. Each of these groups has an independent common terminal associated with it (the two common terminals are not integrated inside the IC693MDL340), allowing each group to be used with an independent AC power source. Alternatively, the same power supply can also be used to power the two common terminals.

IC693MDL340 This module can only work on AC power. It can provide high inrush current, so it is recommended to use its output to control various loads of inductors and incandescent lamps. The user must provide AC power to operate the load connected to the output. There are LED signal lights on the top of IC693MDL340 to indicate the ON/OFF status of each point. In addition, it has two horizontal lines, each with eight other green LEDs, and a final LED in the center between the two lines. The eight LEDs on the top are labeled A1 to 8, indicating the output status. Unless a load is connected to the fuse, the LED will not work. The insert of IC693MDL340 separates the inner and outer surfaces of its hinged door. After closing this door, the circuit wiring information will be displayed on the inner surface of the module, and the circuit identification information can be found on the outer surface. The outer left edge of the insert is painted red to indicate the high voltage module. The maximum response time of IC693MDL340 when turned on is 1 ms, and the maximum response time, when turned off, is ½ cycle. Through the 5 voltage buses on the backplane, its power consumption is 315 mA (when all outputs are on).
