GE Fanuc IC694APU300 RX3i High-Speed Counter Module No Terminal Block

IC694APU300 is a Fanuc GE PLC output model, designed for high-speed processing of fast signals with frequencies up to 1 Mhz. This module is well suited for control applications such as speed measurement, process control, turbine flowmeters, and meter calibration. The module intuitively detects the input and processes the input information count without the need to communicate with the CPU (Central Processing Unit). For input memory, the high-speed counter uses 16 words, including 16-bit discrete input memory and 15 analog input memories. In addition, the high-speed counter uses 16-bit discrete output memory, which is transmitted once for each scan. It is worth mentioning that there is no DIP switch on the module. The output module can be configured to accommodate 1 complex counter, 2 identical and independent complex counters, and 4 identical simple counters.

The IC694APU300 module provides two working modes in the RX3i system: classic mode and enhanced. For enhanced mode, the data status of the module provides 32-bit diagnostic information about the operation of the module to the CPU. In the classic model, the module status data transfers 16-bit diagnostic information about the operation of the module to the CPU. It is worth noting that high-speed counters: IC693APU300-MA and IC694APU300-CA do not support handheld programmer configuration. The LED indicator is responsible for indicating the operating status of the module and the status of other configuration parameters.

The IC694APU300 output module consists of 4 positive logic outputs and 12 positive logic inputs, and can provide an input voltage range of 5V DC or 10 to 10 V. The operating power for the logic circuit of the module comes from the 5 VDC bus on the backplane. For input and output devices, the power supply is provided by the user or +24 VDC output.

In addition, the module comes with an internal module diagnostic program and a detachable terminal board, which can be used during field wiring. These inputs are updated every time the CPU scans. During the installation process, it is recommended to install the product in an enclosure with the least pollution. The wiring should be done with copper wire. If two wires are used, they must be the same size. In the field wiring process, all cables connected to the high-speed counter should use shielded cables, and the shielded cables must be within 6 inches of the IC694APU300 PLC module.
