C300 CC-PFB801 Controller

The C300 CC-PFB801 controller, a powerful part of Honeywell's CSeries, automatically performs a series of tasks when the controller is powered on. It mainly includes the following three steps:

1. POST to verify the existence of the C300 controller and test the integrity of hardware.

2. Initialize the software and hardware environment.

3. Decide whether the controller enters the application state.

① Bottom plate of the C300 controller. (The C series hardware is composed of the bottom plate and the module, which is inserted into the bottom plate and fixed with bolts)

② The module

The module is the main body of the control part. There are processors, memory, internal detection, and other circuits inside. The main work of the control part will be completed here. There are LED lights and display screens on the module, here we can get a lot of various information in the C300 working process or fault, which will be described in detail later.

③ FTE network device index number

The identity of C300 in the network that distinguishes it from other nodes (server, operation station, other C300) can be understood as the IP address of C300 (C300 and server, operation station, etc., are all in the same FTE network, and each node in the network is distinguished by IP).

④ Spare battery interface

The purpose of connecting the spare battery with a dedicated cable is to keep the latest configuration policy in the C300 RAM from being lost when the C300 runs out of power.

⑤ GPS clock source network interface

In the automatic control system, clock synchronization is very important, that is, the time of each node in the system should be consistent. If the time of each node in the network is obtained from the GPS clock source device, the clock can easily be kept consistent. The C300 controller can use this network port to connect to the external clock source and get the time from the clock source. If the network port is not wired to connect to the clock source, then the C300 time can be set from the server by software.

⑥ Redundant network port

A pair of redundant C300 controllers this network port is connected with a cable to synchronize the data between the master and the backup controllers.

⑦ Connect two ports of FTE network

Any node in the FTE network has two sockets, connecting two different switches with two colored wires (see FTE network for details). These are the two sockets, marked A and B on the baseplate.

⑧ IO LINK interface

As the core of the control part, C300 requires the cooperation of IO CARDS, and the IO CARDS of C300 relies on these two pairs of interfaces to connect IO. The capacity of C300 to connect IO is limited, each pair of interfaces can connect 40 IO in parallel at most, and the total number of IO connected by the two pairs of interfaces should not exceed 64, instead of 80. (If 40 interfaces are connected in parallel above, then only 24 interfaces can be connected below). Interface pairing is also the concept of redundancy, that is, each IO clip has two IO LINK cables connected to the C300, breaking one does not affect the operation.
