The TSXP57353LA is a high-performance, single-format PL7 processor module engineered for the Schneider Electric Modicon Premium automation platform. Operating on a 5 VDC backplane bus with a current consumption of 1650 mA, this unit delivers control logic execution for complex industrial applications. It features integrated fieldbus management, flexible serial communication ports, and support for multi-rack automation architectures.
Processing Performance and System Memory
The module features 80 Kwords of internal RAM allocated for application programs and data storage when used independently. To accommodate larger control programs, memory can be extended up to 384 Kwords for application logic using optional PCMCIA expansion cards, leaving 96 Kwords of internal RAM dedicated to data processing. Task execution is divided into 1 master task, 1 fast task, and up to 64 event-driven tasks, enabling high-speed processing of time-critical control loops.
System Capacity and Fieldbus Connectivity
Designed for distributed architectures, the processor manages up to 1024 discrete I/O channels, 128 analog channels, and up to 32 application-specific channels across a maximum of 16 racks. Network integration includes an onboard Fipio fieldbus manager connection (SUB-D 9-pin connector) capable of managing up to 127 remote agents. Additionally, 2 non-isolated mini-DIN RS485 serial interfaces provide direct local connectivity for programming terminals, operator panels, and peripheral devices.

Built as a single-slot standard module, the unit installs directly into a single slot of a Modicon Premium backplane rack.
