Product Overview

The Spirax Sarco EP5 is a high-performance, 2-wire electropneumatic positioner designed to provide precise control for linear pneumatic actuators. By comparing a 4–20 mA electrical input from a controller with the actual valve position feedback, the EP5 modulates the pneumatic output to compensate for stem friction, diaphragm hysteresis, and differential pressure variations. This ensures the valve remains exactly where the process demands, regardless of mechanical resistance.
